Server status: in development

The golden era, as it was

The world of the early days, from the first village to the Grotto of Exile.

  1. Level 99

The classic world, all the way to the Grotto of Exile.

  2. 3x EXP

Levelling at three times the normal experience.

  3. All three kingdoms

Shinsoo, Chunjo and Jinno, as in the classic game.

  4. PvP from level 30

From level 30 you can fight other players, and you can lose items when you die.

  5. A safe first village

The first village map is PvP-free.

  6. Start at the bridge

New players begin their journey at the bridge.

No complicated mechanics

Zenkai2 is simple on purpose. Hunt, loot, upgrade, trade.

Made fair

Gear only drops in the world, rarer gear is much stronger, and the game explains every new system itself.

Gear only from drops

No NPC shop sells gear. Every weapon and every piece of armour drops in the world.

  • Metins

    Gear, EXP and Yang.

  • Monsters

    Gear, but rarely.

  • Map bosses

Chances at Legendary gear, and dungeon tickets.

  • Dungeons

    Mythic gear.

A failed upgrade destroys the item, unless a Blessing Scroll protects it. There is no pity system.

Much more from its own stats

The rarer the item, the more damage or defence it gives from the stats it already has.

A glow in the bag

Every rarity glows in its own colour in your inventory.

Seen in the world

Rarity weapons and armour show on your character, so everyone can see what you wear.

The classic level rule

You wear gear from its level, as in the classic game. Rarity only makes it stronger.

Map bosses

Bosses spawn on timers all over the world. They give you a chance at Legendary gear, and they drop dungeon tickets.

  • Timed spawns

Each boss comes back on its own timer, on maps all over the world.

  • A rarity for every boss

Every boss spawns with a rarity.

  • One chest per kill

Each kill drops a single chest that players fight over. It opens with a slot-machine spin.

  • Back to town

Die to a boss or a player and you go back to town, with no teleport for 5 minutes.

Dungeons

Two dungeons, with rooms of 1 to 5 players. The rarer the ticket, the harder the run and the better the chest.

Ape Dungeon

Level 35–55The clock: 20:00

The apes come round the party in waves. After the last wave comes the Ape Leader, then the Walking Ape.

Map bosses of level 32 to 51 drop them.

Clear the cave and every player gets a Dungeon Chest of the run's rarity.

New

Spider Nest

Level 50–70The clock: 25:00

The spiders come round the party in waves. After the last wave comes the Proud Soldier Spider, then the Queen Spider.

Map bosses of level 52 to 67 drop them.

Clear the nest and every player gets a Dungeon Chest of the run's rarity – with the Spider Nest's stronger gear and more Yang than the Ape Dungeon's.

  1. Get a ticket

Map bosses drop them, and each dungeon has its own. A Dungeon Chest can give one back, sometimes one rarity higher: the only way to a Mythic ticket.

  2. Make or join a room

Talk to a Dungeon Master, next to the General Store or at the old dungeon entrances. Everyone in the room brings a ticket of the same rarity.

  3. Ready, Start, go

Everyone presses Ready, the leader presses Start, then a 5-second countdown. The ticket is used when the run starts, win or lose.

Six tickets, six runs

A rarer ticket: a harder run, a better chest.

  6. MythicDeaths allowed: 2The clock: 18:45Eggs: 4The curse, bosses' damage for each death: +5%
  • Deaths allowed: one more fails the run
  • The clock: the run fails when it runs out
  • Totems shield the Walking Ape: break them first
  • Spider Eggs shield the Queen Spider: break them first
  • The curse: every death makes the bosses hit harder

The bars compare how hard each run is.

The countdown: Ape Dungeon, Epic, 4 seconds to go

The countdown

The leader presses Start, and 5 seconds later the whole room goes in.

The run's HUD: wave 2 of 5, the next wave in 0:45, 9 apes alive, 1 death of 6 and the curse at +5%

In the run

The wave, the apes still alive, the deaths and the clock stay in view.

The death screen: deaths 3 of 6, the curse, and the buttons Restart here and Leave the dungeon

If you fall

“Restart here” keeps you in the run. “Leave the dungeon” takes you out.

Horses

Three horses, each in six rarities. The rarer the horse, the more bonus lines it has and the faster it runs.

  • No hunger, no stamina: horses never tire and never die.
  • Each step of rarity adds a bonus line, up to 5, and +2 speed.
  • The lines count while your horse is out: ridden, or walking next to you.
  • Metins, map-boss chests and Dungeon Chests drop them. There is no free horse.
  • Buy and sell them on the Marketplace.

The Horse Fusion window at work: three Rare Level 20 horses swirl on the altar, and the new horse will be Epic at a 70% chance

Horse Fusion

Click the Stable Boy in the village and put three horses of the same level and the same rarity on the altar.

  • 70%: one horse of the next rarity, with all-new lines.
  • Otherwise: one horse of the same rarity, with all-new lines.
  • The three horses are used up either way.
  • Mythic horses only drop. A fusion makes up to Legendary.
